Smart Home Technician

We design and install smart home systems that bring together audio, video, security, lighting, and control into one seamless experience. No two days look the same, and that’s exactly how we like it.

We typically look for candidates with some experience in smart home, AV, low-voltage, or related fields. That said, many of our best technicians have come from backgrounds like IT, networking, construction, automotive, and other hands-on trades. If you’re motivated and ready to learn, you’ll fit right in here.

• Install, configure, and support residential audio/video and smart home systems
• Work independently and with a team on job sites across North Texas
• Communicate with clients, builders, and internal team members throughout projects
• Assist with on-site system design decisions and problem-solving
• Prepare job sites and keep projects organized from start to finish
• Test, troubleshoot, and fine-tune systems to ensure everything works as it should
• Transport equipment and tools between job sites
• Maintain clean, organized job sites, vehicles, and equipment

• Home automation and control systems
• Security and alarm systems
• Whole-home audio and video
• Surveillance systems
• Smart lighting and shading
• Access control (locks, gates, garage systems)
• Low-voltage prewiring for new construction and remodels
• Light commercial projects

• Positive, solution-oriented mindset
• Strong work ethic and desire to grow
• Hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable problem-solving
• Clear communicator and team player
• Reliable, organized, and punctual

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent (college is a plus, not required)
• Experience in smart home, AV, low-voltage, or a related field is strongly preferred. If you’re motivated, hands-on, and eager to learn, we’re open to training the right person.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll be lifting equipment, climbing ladders, using tools, and working alongside other trades on active job sites.
