Role Description The Medical Assistant at Medi-Weightloss® in Princeton, NJ is a full-time, on-site role supporting providers in delivering safe, effective weight loss and wellness care. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing patients for visits, taking vital signs and measurements, documenting medical histories, and assisting with exams and in-office procedures. The Medical Assistant helps administer treatments and tests, provides patient education on program protocols, nutrition, and lifestyle changes, and supports individualized care plans. Additional duties may include handling phone calls, scheduling, maintaining exam rooms and supplies, and following clinical and safety protocols to ensure a positive, efficient patient experience.

Qualifications
- Clinical support skills, including taking vital signs, patient intake, basic phlebotomy or lab assistance, and safe handling of medical equipment.
- Strong patient care and communication abilities, including clear patient education, active listening, and a supportive, motivational approach to behavior change.
- Organizational and administrative skills, such as accurate documentation in medical records, appointment scheduling, and coordination of patient flow.
- Attention to detail and adherence to quality, safety, and infection-control standards in an outpatient or weight management setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Relevant certification or training as a Medical Assistant; state-specific credentials and current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
- Experience in weight management, primary care, or related healthcare settings is beneficial.
