Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred to help us better serve our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures, including: Urinalysis, EKGs, Phlebotomy, Body composition analysis
- Obtain and document patient vital signs.
- Prepare laboratory requisitions and obtain laboratory results.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Assist the physician or nurse practitioner/physician assistant with patient care and referrals.
- Support medication and clinical supply inventory management.
- Conduct patient consultations as delegated by the supervising provider regarding the Medi-Weightloss program.
- Perform follow-up calls to monitor patient progress and address questions or concerns.
- Assist with front desk operations, including: Patient check-in and check-out, Appointment scheduling, Insurance verification
- Answering phones
- Responding to prospective patient inquiries
- Maintaining patient records
- Train new team members on clinic procedures as requested.
- Participate in marketing and community outreach initiatives to support clinic growth.
- Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Phlebotomy experience required.
- Experience performing EKGs and obtaining vital signs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Previous experience in weight management, primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or wellness is a plus.
