The Spa Manager oversees all operational, financial, and team management aspects of Medi Pedi NYC. You will ensure the spa operates efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with our brand values.
This leadership role combines people management, client service excellence, and business strategy. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured, service-driven environment and has strong financial acumen, creativity in service design, and a deep passion for wellness and hospitality.
You will manage a team of 12 (scaling to 25), develop innovative treatments and experiences, and collaborate directly with leadership on operational systems, marketing initiatives, and expansion strategies.
You will also develop new treatments, signature experiences, and innovative service solutions that reflect Medi Pedi NYC’s mission of healing and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee spa operations, ensuring treatment rooms and staff deliver five-star service.
- Lead, motivate, and train the team to uphold Medi Pedi NYC standards.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and inventory with precision and organization.
- Create and implement new spa treatments and client experiences.
- Maintain vendor relationships and oversee monthly ordering processes.
- Address client concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing on promotions and growth initiatives.
- Support a culture of gratitude, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, and revenue reports to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly performance reports for leadership review.
- Manage financial and operational data through QuickBooks and Paychex (or similar systems).
- Implement systems and policies that enhance profitability, service efficiency, and cost control.
- Present data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Coding of bank statements.
Qualifications
- 5 years of management experience in spa, wellness, medical spa, or hospitality operations.
- Proven success in leading teams, managing budgets, and improving operational performance.
- Strong financial literacy and experience with reporting, payroll, and inventory systems.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Paychex, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Boulevard.
- Experience developing new treatments, service menus, or guest experience programs.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Highly dependable, structured, and purpose-driven.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to New York City.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $75,000–$85,000 (based on experience)
