**Job Description:**
Join our team as a dedicated and compassionate Hospital Marketer at our Skilled Nursing Facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in increasing our facility's census and referral base through proactive sales and community engagement efforts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct outside sales calls to hospitals, medical professionals, senior organizations, and community groups to promote our services and educate on bed availability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to drive admissions and meet the needs of the community.
- Intake information from referrals and clients in a professional manner, ensuring a seamless admission process.
- Collaborate closely with the DON and Administrator to facilitate timely admissions decisions.
- Train and coordinate in-house staff on admissions processes and serve as a resource for inquiries and tours.
- Stay informed about federal and state regulations, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, and managed care referral processes.
- Monitor inquiry and admission trends to support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a database of medical contacts and community resources, keeping abreast of industry trends and regulatory issues.
- Assist in developing facility marketing materials such as brochures, press releases, and advertisements.
**Qualifications:**
- Preferably have sales and SNF community relations experience, particularly in SNF healthcare settings.
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong self-motivation.
- Familiarity healthcare referral processes.
- Proficiency in computer skills relevant to the role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate sales responsibilities.
