POSITION SUMMARY
Medgene Labs seeks a Material Specialist who is responsible as a runner, ensuring all materials are moved to the appropriate locations at the appointed times or as needed. This individual manages the supply of materials throughout the facility and the warehouse. This position is responsible for tracking the warehouse inventory. This position will report to the Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor.
- JOB DUTIES
- Putting away incoming materials in the appropriate locations
- Picking orders as needed
- Delivering materials to a shipping specialist
- Labeling and receiving products as needed.
- Performing daily inspections and audits
- Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the work area.
- Operating equipment in a safe manner
- Maintaining a safe, compliant work area
- Completing daily documentation as required
- Staging finished product for loading
- Using scrubbing and sweeping equipment to maintain the warehouse
- Other duties assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of general warehouse and inventory processes desirable
- Basic understanding of OSHA safety regulations
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and keen attention to detail.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite desired
- Experience with ERP/MRP system desired
- GP Dynamics is a plus
- Experience with a third-party shipping system desired
- The ability to lift a minimum of 30-55 pounds is required.
