Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. This position is clinic-based only and focuses on providing high-quality care in both Primary Care and Infectious Disease. The ideal candidate is dedicted to delivering exceptional patient care, and building long-term relationships with patients.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced Infectious Disease physician while practiving a wide variety of outpatient medicine in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Provide preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
- Manage patients with infectious disease under physician collaboration.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Oder, interpret, and review laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and imaging.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to provide coordinated patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Current Oklahoma Family Nurse Practioner (FNP) license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Current BLS certification.
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Skills
- Proficient in managing medical records efficiently and accurately.
- Experience in providing care for infectious diseases.
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) usage and management.
- Competent in medication administration techniques and protocols.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive physical examinations effectively.
- Experience working in a medical office or outpatient setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of assisted living care practices is a plus.
- Understanding of behavioral health principles and interventions.
Work Schedule

- Outpatient Clinic Only
- NO hospital rounding
- NO weekends
- NO call
