About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to lead and oversee our company’s safety programs across multiple sites. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a strong safety culture that ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about promoting workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive health and safety plans, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with leadership and department managers to drive company-wide safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, and codes.
- Utilize safety software to maintain accurate documentation, training records, and compliance tracking.
- Conduct routine site inspections and safety audits; identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Stop unsafe work practices and enforce corrective safety measures as needed.
- Provide technical and administrative support to employees and management regarding safety matters.
- Conduct quarterly employee safety training and toolbox talks; submit weekly driving safety graphs and reports.
- Partner with HR to manage and report Workers’ Compensation claims and oversee the claims process.
- Inspect and ensure ladders, electrical cords, PPE, harnesses, lanyards, lifts, and related equipment are in safe working condition.
- Maintain PPE inventory and ensure all trucks are properly stocked.
- Report and document all OSHA-related incidents and assist with audits and compliance reviews.
- Lead coaching and counseling sessions related to safety performance and accountability.
- Analyze inspection data, identify trends, and present reports to management for continuous improvement.
- Conduct inspections for approximately 600 technicians/employees annually.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Participate in annual leadership and safety training (minimum 36 CRM hours per year).
Qualifications & Certifications
- EHS Certified
- OSHA 30 and/or OSHA 510 or 500
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in safety management, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety standards
- Proficiency in safety management systems and reporting software

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
