The Farmstead at Medford (an Independent Living Senior Community) is accepting applications for full-time and part-time Maintenance Tech Associates to join our team! We offer a first-class experience for residents and their guests. Our Maintenance Team delivers outstanding service to our residents, focusing on first impressions, community safety and maintenance upkeep of the entire community.

Responsibilities and duties:
· You will share in making our community a beautiful place for residents to live.
· You will provide cleaning services for public common areas.
· You will respond to maintenance requests from Residents including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting & various maintenance tasks.
· You will monitor and respond to emergencies such as building life safety systems and the fire alarm panel.
· You will tour the building as needed to ensure that all entry doors are closed and locked after hours.
· You will have the opportunity to serve a senior population and provide quality service for each resident we serve.

Qualifications:
· You have the ability to develop positive relationships with residents, peers and the community.
· You have the ability to develop positive relationships with residents, peers and the community.
· A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
· Working in a team environment, supporting and caring for our fellow colleagues.
· You have a minimum of 1 year facility maintenance experience in a hotel, apartment, or senior living facility.
· You have experience performing routine maintenance and building repairs with a working knowledge of custodial cleaning procedures including floor-care.
· You have basic computer skills including Email, Microsoft Word, etc.
· Preferred HVAC experience (while not mandatory, this is a plus.)
· You have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, managers, and vendors.
· You have the ability reach, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs.
