Information Technology Manager

The Medford Cooperative is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our Administrative team. This critical leadership role will be responsible for all aspects of IT management including desktop support, project management, security, business analysis, and networking.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication, troubleshooting, teamwork, organizational, and analytical skills. Must be versatile and have experience or familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, Exchange 2013, VMware, IBM AS/400 iSeries and Microsoft Office 2019 applications.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Troubleshoot, analyze, investigate and resolve any hardware/software issues on different systems to include PC’s, networks, point-of-sale, security surveillance systems, payment systems, fueling dispensers, etc.
• Provide technical maintenance and support for PC’s, Servers and Local Area Networks (LANS).
• Install hardware and wiring, including peripherals, communication lines, telephone lines, AV cable and all associated devices as necessary.
• Install/update all systems and prepare these same systems for functionality by end-users. This includes training of new/existing users on technologies as necessary.
• Oversee and coordinate installation and maintenance of security surveillance systems as well as being the SME for each system and able to train end users.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for the various types of systems throughout the organization including preventive maintenance schedules and technical support knowledge necessary to keep systems functioning at the highest level of performance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred

• Two-year technical degree preferred, with five (5) or more years prior work experience desired in the grocery, retail or convenience-store industry in a technology and support role.
• Possess a proficiency of all Microsoft Operating Systems as well as PC hardware and software.
• Possess knowledge and experience with retail fueling-systems and fuel storage monitoring systems.
• Possess knowledge and experience with programming and operating retail point-of-sale devices.
• Possess above average knowledge of MS Office products and the ability to become familiar with internal software programs used in our industries (retail price-book, anti-virus, security, surveillance, etc.).
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent organizational skills, be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Working Conditions

Able to work a flexible schedule to include travel on nights/weekends/holidays as necessary to provide optimal service to the end users and systems.

Smoke-free environment that will primarily be indoor work but at times may be exposed to hot/cool temperatures as well as when entering coolers.
