Duties

• Safely pick up and deliver blood, lab specimens, and medical supplies
• Follow strict chain-of-custody and handling protocols
• Execute routes efficiently to meet time-sensitive delivery windows
• Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and dispatch
• Load, unload, and secure medical shipments properly
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle (SUV or cargo van preferred)
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
• Smartphone with GPS/navigation
• Must be available for on-call dispatch (including nights/early mornings)
• Strong reliability and time management

Certifications (Required Before Starting)

• HIPAA Certification
• Blood-borne Pathogen Certification

Preferred Experience

• Courier, delivery driver, or medical transport experience
• Familiarity with time-sensitive deliveries
• Experience with route planning/navigation
