Cleaning & Housekeeping / Cultivation Support

MEDfarms is looking to add a dependable, hardworking Cleaning & Housekeeping / Cultivation Support team member to our staff. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, organized cultivation facility while also assisting with basic garden tasks when needed.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has excellent attendance and punctuality, pays close attention to detail, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and work hard. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who understands the importance of cleanliness, organization, and teamwork in a cultivation environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform routine cleaning throughout the facility, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Clean spills, messes, and other areas promptly.
• Maintain clean and sanitary bathrooms and common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Refill facility supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and other necessary items.
• Set up, stock, organize, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Monitor assigned areas to ensure they remain clean, sanitary, and organized.
• Perform routine inspections and communicate cleanliness or maintenance concerns to the appropriate lead.
• Monitor cleaning and facility supplies and communicate when supplies need to be reordered.
• Perform laundry for the facility.
• Assist with basic garden and cultivation tasks when needed, including defoliation, harvesting, and room transfers.
• Follow all facility sanitation, safety, and operational procedures.
• Work cooperatively with other team members and assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

• Previous professional cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to recognize tasks requiring timely follow-up and communicate them appropriately.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work professionally with team members at all levels of the facility.
• Willingness and ability to perform cultivation support tasks as needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid, non-expired driver's license.
• Basic computer and printer skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established facility procedures.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
