This full-time Occupational Medicine position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 or 9 AM to 5 or 6 PM, with some weekend on-call and telemedicine duties.
Responsibilities include treating low to mid-level injuries, follow-up care, physicals, DOT examinations, stress test reviews, and preoperative clearances. Suturing skills are required for minor lacerations; serious injuries are referred to the ER.
Approximately 30 established patients are seen daily. The role requires current DOT certification or certification within one month.
Key duties involve documenting patient histories, assessing pain, managing various conditions, and maintaining accurate EMR records. Strong communication and time management skills are essential.
Training is provided for 4-6 weeks. Preferred experience includes occupational medicine and urgent care.
Compensation ranges from $210,000 to $260,000 annually, with benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, malpractice coverage, and paid time off.
