What are the responsibilities and job description for the OBGYN Hospitalist/Laborist position at Medfamily Wellcare Center?
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist/Laborist to provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecological care in a hospital setting.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage inpatient and emergency cases, including assisting with C-sections and rounds on hospitalized patients.
- Cover OB/GYN ER call, provide consultations, and coordinate discharge planning.
- Utilize EHR/EMR systems effectively, educate patients and families, and manage complex medical needs.
- Qualifications include MD/DO license in California, DEA certification, and at least 3 years OB/GYN experience preferred. Bilingual skills and critical care experience are a plus.
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential, with a focus on patient-centered care and continuous learning.
Salary : $172,800 - $244,800
