Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking a dedicated Physician – Hospitalist to support healthcare services in Gallup, NM, on the Navajo Reservation.

• Provide diagnosis, care, and treatment for adult inpatients on the general medical ward and open ICU, managing critically ill patients and ventilators.
• Perform consultations across various specialties and respond to adult codes, leading or assisting as needed.
• Make preliminary diagnoses, arrange referrals, and document all clinical information in the Electronic Health Record.
• Rounding involves 7-9 patients daily, with admission duties approximately every other day, working from early morning until at least 7pm on primary admit days.
• This full-time, contract role offers $180-$190/hour, with benefits including malpractice insurance, relocation, and travel reimbursement.
• Requires relocation to Gallup, NM, before starting.
