Family Practice Obstetrics Provider

The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.

• Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including preventive, acute, and chronic care, as well as minor procedures.
• Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries (vaginal and C-section if credentialed), and postpartum follow-up.
• Care for newborns and provide pediatric services within a family-centered approach.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and patient-centered initiatives.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach, call rotations, and after-hours coverage, including hospital labor and delivery schedules.
  
  

Qualifications include MD or DO degree, completion of family medicine residency, additional obstetric training, current unrestricted medical license, board certification or eligibility in family medicine, and hospital privileges eligibility. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO are preferred.
