The Role
The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategy across the US market, while aligning closely with global commercial objectives.
This is a senior executive leadership role accountable for brand positioning, demand generation, and commercial marketing performance in the US. The role partners closely with the executive leadership team to shape go-to-market strategy and accelerate revenue growth.
A key part of the mandate includes leading and managing a global marketing team, ensuring strong execution, capability building, and alignment across regional and functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
The Vice President of Marketing will lead the US marketing strategy in alignment with global objectives, translating clinical and product innovation into clear value propositions for the US healthcare market while ensuring strong cross-functional alignment with sales, clinical, and product teams.
The role will build and strengthen a differentiated global MedTech brand with a strong US presence, defining consistent messaging across portfolios and ensuring cohesive execution across all channels.
A core focus will be driving demand generation and commercial growth across US B2B healthcare markets, working closely with sales to accelerate pipeline development and executing account-based marketing for key hospital and institutional customers.
The VP will also own US product and portfolio marketing, including go-to-market strategy for launches and expansions, as well as segmentation, positioning, and pricing in collaboration with R&D and clinical teams.
In addition, the role will lead digital and marketing transformation by building a data-driven function leveraging CRM, automation, and analytics, with a focus on improving performance and ROI.
Finally, the position includes leading and scaling a global marketing team, developing organizational capability, and fostering a high-performance, execution-driven culture.
Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years of senior marketing leadership experience in MedTech, medical devices, life sciences, or healthcare technology
- Proven track record of leading and scaling global and regional marketing teams
- Strong commercial orientation with measurable impact on revenue growth
- Experience leading US market strategies within global organizations
- Deep understanding of B2B healthcare ecosystems (hospitals, surgeons, distributors)
- Expertise in digital marketing transformation and performance marketing
- Executive presence with strong stakeholder management skills
