Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), located in Philadelphia, PA. The PA/NP will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with non-life-threatening conditions in an urgent care setting. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, performing minor procedures, prescribing medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient care. This role encompasses providing compassionate and timely medical services to meet the needs of our diverse patient population.
Qualifications
- Experience in patient evaluation, clinical assessments, and performing minor medical procedures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Proficient in clerical and administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate patient records and managing schedules
- Proven ability to manage patient care effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Active PA or NP license in Pennsylvania
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Prior experience in urgent care, emergency care, or primary care settings is highly beneficial
