Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or courier vehicle to deliver packages along assigned routes within Coconut Creek and surrounding areas
- Load and unload items efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
- Ensure accurate delivery of all packages, verifying recipient information and obtaining signatures when required
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, route logs, and any incidents that occur during shifts
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Prior delivery driver or courier experience is highly desirable
- Ability to operate a box truck or similar vehicle with manual transmission if applicable
- Experience with heavy lifting, moving items, or warehouse work is a plus
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently, follow directions accurately, and manage time effectively during scheduled hours from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on weekdays
