Founded in 1961 by Olle Larsson, Medela is led today by his son Michael Larsson, who has served as Chairman of the Board since 2001. www.medela.com This is a Temporary position located in the McHenry, IL office. 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 9:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Critical Skills/Experience – Temporary Production Assembler Previous assembly experience preferred Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English May use various production machines with mechanical or electronic controls Clean room experience would be helpful - Hairnet, lab coat, eye protection, gloves, closed toe shoes, no jewelry, no make-up Main Responsibilities – Temporary Production Assembler Assemble and inspect pumps, subassemblies, kits and components on and off production lines following verbal and written department procedures, work aids, work orders, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions and/or procedure manuals (“Instructions”) Meet or exceed minimum required production rate Meet or exceed required quality level following Instructions Rotate through positions according to work schedule Count, label and box pumps, kits and assemblies for inventory or shipment following Instructions All employees are responsible for regular and reliable attendance. The company will schedule a minimum of 40 hours per week; based on business demand overtime may be required.
