MEDDATA/MEDTRON is seeking candidates for our Medical Billing Team to assist in Charge Capture and Claims review.This position requires candidates to work in the office Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm.Successful candidates should have medical billing and/or medical software training experience, be conscientious, reliable, detail-oriented and eager to learn.Experience working in a physician's office or insurance claims processing office is preferred.Experience working various phases of medical billing including coding, charge entry, payment posting and calling on status of claims.Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codesKnowledge of Medicare guidelines (LCD/NCD articles)Familiarity with insurance remits. RA and or Explanation of Benefits – ERA sBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).Able to type 40 WPMGood communication skillsKnowledge of Modifiers, Global Periods and Medical Necessity guidelines a plus.Anesthesia experience a bonus.Candidates must also be available to work occasional nights/evenings and weekends to meet client deadlines.Rate of pay is $19.00-$24.00/hour based on experience.
