What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Technician position at MedData/Medtron?
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to end users. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and excellent customer service skills.
THIS IS A IN OFFICE POSTION & requires candidates to work: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm or 7:30am-5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems
- Provide technical support to employees and client users (in-person, phone, or remote)
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and hardware issues
- Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Perform routine system maintenance and updates
- Monitor system performance and ensure security protocols are followed
- Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference
- Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and deployments
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology or 2 years IT experience
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
