Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of psychiatry residency; fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry preferred
Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
Valid Georgia medical license and DEA registration
Experience working in community health or underserved populations preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication management and psychotherapy as appropriate
- Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and case managers
- Participate in care coordination and team meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Stay current with best practices in psychiatry and FQHC compliance standards.
