Overview
This individual is responsible for making all appointments for each department. These appointments are made via telephone and/or in person. This position also requires flexibility when changes in the physicians schedule are made which would require patient contact to adjust current schedule. Some patient education and outreach is required for new patient or to implement new policies. There is an occasional need to assist other areas such as medical records and PBX operator. Some statistical reports are required at the end of the day and/or week.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of medical front office experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette.Â
- Maintain appointments for all new and established patients.
- Monitor any physician and patient schedule changes and/or cancellations to adjust schedule to reflect changes in a timely manner.
- Assist patients in completing patient registration forms, update patient data such as address or insurance changes.
- Occasionally accommodates coverage for the PBX or medical records during lunch periods or when immediate assistance is needed.
