About the position
How many neonatologists are currently on staff? - 2
122 shifts per year (about 10-11 per month)
- Level III NICU – 16 beds in addition they have UC Davis Telemedicine
- Average daily census is 9
- Schedule is 10 days on/20 days off (typically starting on the 21st of each month)
- Ability to take call from home
- EMR – Cerner

- Academic affiliation – 26 family medicine residents that rotate through the NICU during their residency
Compensation and benefits:
- $400,000 base salary guarantee (Is this an independent contractor position or employed?) Employed
- Opportunity for extra shifts over 122 per year paid at $3000/extra shift
- Singing incentive and relocation available (40k sign on bonus and 20k relocation)
- PSLF Eligible
- Medical benefits: Group paid medical and dental insurance plans are available. HSA-eligible medical with $3000 group contribution to HSA account.
