Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Valid Texas LVN license, current CPR certification, driver’s license, and auto liability insurance
- 6 months of pediatric home health experience as an LVN preferred (not required)
- Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in a home setting for 8–12 hour shifts, allowing them to remain with their families instead of an in-patient facility
- Care for clients with serious illnesses, disabilities, or those recovering from injuries or extensive surgery
- Assess client conditions during each visit, including vital signs, seizure monitoring, and care for gastrostomy tubes, tracheostomies, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilators
