Purchasing Department Assistant (Full Time)

Position Overview:
A purchaser agent assistant is responsible for coordinating purchases of various products and services for the DME. Purchaser Assistant will help to maintain our supply inventory levels required for effective company operation. will be responsible for order supplies, inventory, equipment, and services for the DME.

DME Purchasing Supervisor
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in a purchasing role.
- Practical experience with purchasing software.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong networking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Conducts research on potential products, vendors, and services, and compares price and quality to ensure the best deal.
2. Maintain strong working relationships with our vendors.
3. Liaises with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.
4. Monitors inventory and writes orders to refill stock.
5. Inspects purchased products upon delivery and reports any issues timely
6. Updates all records of purchased products.
7. Assists the DME Operations Manager in special projects or duties as assigned.
8. Ensure compliance with the organization's Code of Conduct and all applicable laws, including HIPAA regulations for the protection of sensitive information.
9. Perform any additional duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.
