Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Travel Pay Rate:
$2700 weekly ($17/hr w2 $2088/week stipend)
Local Pay Rate:
$60/Hr on w2

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma, teaching hospital in Seattle. The Neuro ICU cares for high-acuity patients including hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, aneurysms, post-craniotomy patients, seizure disorders, and neuro infections. Candidates must have strong Neuro ICU experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced academic trauma center.
Duties:
- Provide critical care to Neuro ICU patients with complex neurological conditions.
- Manage patients with EVDs, ICP monitoring, ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and vasoactive drips.
- Care for post-craniotomy, stroke, TBI, and neurosurgical patients.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Float to other ICU units or boarder areas as needed within scope of practice.
RN01
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
- Recent Level I Trauma experience required
- Strong experience with: External Ventricular Drains (EVD), Post-Craniotomy Care, Burr Holes
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Telemetry proficiency required, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias (testing required)
- Experience with ventilated patients, stroke care, ICP monitoring, and critical care drips
