What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tooling Technician position at Medbio?
Summary of Function:
Supports customer tooling and all departments as required.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning, maintaining, sorting, and changeover of all molds (can disassemble clean and assemble molds)
- Be able to trouble shoot hot runner systems.
- Safely able to move all molds including 4,000 lbs.
- Provide safe working environment
- Keep a clean work area.
- Work for other departments when needed
- Maintain all equipment in first-class condition
- Help maintain a flow of ideas and a sharing of knowledge to increase the level of expertise in toolroom
- Help maintain cleanliness and order that makes toolroom standout
- Support and adhere to corporate mission, values, and policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Can do some milling and replace ejector pins.
Organizational Relationships:
Directly reports to the Toolroom Manager, in addition of supporting each Medbio department as required.
Experience and/or Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong mechanical ability required
Physical Requirements:
- Pass auditory screening.
- The ability lift and carry various items up to 50 pounds.
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
