Role Description
This is a hybrid full time job role based in Levittown, PA, with opportunities for remote work. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for processing healthcare claims, managing accounts receivables, coding medical procedures, handling insurance claim submissions, and addressing claim denials. The intern will work closely with the revenue cycle management team to ensure accurate and timely billing for various medical services while maintaining effective communication with clients and insurance providers.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology
- Proficiency in handling Denials and Accounts Receivables
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards
- Knowledge of Insurance processes and Medicare regulations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Experience with medical billing software and tools is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a relevant healthcare or business-related degree is preferred
