MedBest has been retained by a reputable client to identify an accomplished Executive Director to lead a premier senior living community in Midlothian, Virginia.
This is an opportunity for an experienced operator who knows how to lead people, delegate effectively, create accountability, and execute.
The community is currently approximately 95% occupied, has a strong reputation in the market, an affluent resident base, and a team that has made meaningful progress over the past year. Our client has invested heavily in strengthening operations, including an overhaul of the wellness leadership team and increased communication and engagement with residents.
Now, they need the right Executive Director to lead it forward.

The Leadership
Your Regional VP of Operations is a seasoned senior living operator who lives and breathes their culture.
He knows the business, knows his communities, and is highly supportive and responsive to his Executive Directors. He'll coach, challenge and back you, but he'll also expect you to take ownership.
If you're knowledgeable, accountable, coachable and willing to work hard, this is the kind of regional leader you want in your corner.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a proven operator who has successfully led a 100 bed senior living community and understands that managing people is one of the most important parts of the job.
The right leader will know how to:
- Delegate without losing accountability
- Develop department leaders and allow them to own their roles
- Listen, communicate and follow through
- Create a plan and execute strategically
- Hold people accountable while maintaining a collaborative culture
- Build trust with residents, families and team members
- Take ownership instead of waiting for the regional team to solve problems
- Lead with integrity, urgency and consistency
