Billing Specialist
MedBest Medical Management has exciting opportunities for a Billing Specialist. Our Billing Specialist will work within a professional and supportive team environment. This position is responsible for collecting and entering demographic information into our electronic management system, to include insurance, diagnosis, cpt, and modifiers. Our Billing Specialist posts insurance and patient payments, works with various insurance companies on unpaid or rejected claims. Follows up with patients and insurance companies. The Medical Biller will answer patient phone inquiries. Good communication and willingness to learn will be your success. Most hours will be conducted in our Salina Office , yet, we offer the opportunity for some remote work as well as a competitive salary.
Our benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, eligibility for employer 401k funding after 1 year (3% quarterly/5% annual on vesting schedule), tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, including vacation and personal time, paid sick leave, holidays and floating holidays.
High School education or equivalent. Two years clerical support in a medical billing setting. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
