You will work closely with project leads and on-site staff to complete deployment milestones on schedule, while adhering to hospital policies, confidentiality requirements, and safety standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Install RTLS beacons on medical devices in accordance with project and manufacturer guidelines
- Assist with installation and setup of RTLS network components, including sensors, gateways, and related hardware
- Support basic network connectivity tasks involving Ethernet, PoE, and wireless connections
- Perform device activation, labeling, and validation to ensure accurate asset tracking
- Conduct basic testing and assist with troubleshooting connectivity or device issues
- Follow hospital safety, infection control, and equipment handling protocols
- Document installed devices, locations, and installation status
- Collaborate with project leads and on-site staff to complete deployment milestones on schedule
- Adhere to hospital policies, confidentiality requirements, and safety standards
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and light lifting of equipment as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training a plus
- 0-2 years of experience in technical, IT, biomedical, or field service roles (entry-level candidates welcome)
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic technical equipment
- Ability to follow written instructions, floor plans, and checklists
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies
- Professional communication skills and comfort working in a healthcare setting
- Exposure to healthcare environments, IT support, or medical equipment handling (preferred)
- Experience with low-voltage systems, networking, or device installations (preferred)
- Familiarity with asset tracking, IoT, or RTLS technologies (preferred)
- CompTIA A or similar foundational certification a plus
- Hands-on experience with cutting-edge RTLS and IoT technologies in a healthcare environment
