Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Louisville KY
Qualifications
Associate's degree in nursing required
Active Kentucky RN License required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) required

Responsibilities
Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery- Full Time, Nights
Nursing staff roles include the labor nurses who support labor and delivery, and delivery team nurses caring for newborns during the immediate newborn period
The unit has 24/7 in-house anesthesia, neonatology, and OB hospitalist support
Registered nurse implements the nursing process for each assigned to his/her care regardless of age (i.e
infancy to geriatric) and is responsible for the patient's care
The registered nurse promotes positive patient outcomes and the delivery of quality patient care
The registered nurse collaborates with the inter-professional team to enhance patient outcomes
The registered nurse serves as a role model through actively participating in the process of continuous professional development and lifelong learning
