We’re partnering with a leading pediatric healthcare organization to hire an Insurance Verification Specialist supporting a Behavioral Health / Autism Clinic team. Location: Atlanta, GA (North Druid Hills area)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexibility of ~30 minutes before/after start time)
6-Month Contract-to-Hire
What You'll Do:
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through payer portals and phone outreach
• Upload and accurately document information in systems
• Review and submit clinical documentation for insurance review
• Manage daily work queues and maintain workflow organization
• Initiate and obtain prior authorizations
• Upload clinicals and secure approvals
• Navigate denials and peer-to-peer review processes as needed
• Support patient access and authorization workflows beyond basic eligibility checks

✔ Ability to clearly articulate information and navigate complex situations
✔ Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, or revenue cycle processes preferred
✔ Behavioral Health or Mental Health experience is a plus (preferred, not required)
