JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client in Ankeny, Iowa is seeking to add Grain Quality Analysts to join their Quality Team within the crop science industry!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receipt, identification, and preparation of samples – ensure incoming samples are labeled correctly, appropriate analytical have been requested, prep and analyze samples according to ISO work instructions.
- Prioritization of analyses according to customer needs matched to capacity
- Organization and coordination of projects in a high throughput lab environment
- Obtaining analytical data and ensuring data integrity
- Functioning in multi-discipline teams and delivering laboratory results in an efficient manner.
This individual will bring 1-3 years of experience within a similar setting
Hands on experience with any of the following:
- Total combustion analysis
- Elemental analysis, calorimetry
- Gas Chromatography (GC), NIR Spectroscopy
- NMR
- Total oil analysis
- Colorimetry
- Falling number
- Farinograph/mixograph, bench-top wet chemical analyses
- LIMS and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary : $16 - $20
