Quality Assurance Complaint Investigator
Location: Concord, NC (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $40–43/hr
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Conversion)
Start Date: Mid to Late October
We are seeking Complaint Investigators to support a growing parenteral manufacturing site in the Research Triangle Park area. This team plays a critical role in ensuring product complaints are thoroughly investigated, documented, and resolved in compliance with GMP and regulatory expectations. This position is essential to maintaining patient safety, product quality, and overall regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct investigations into product complaints, including device malfunctions and product quality issues
• Review manufacturing and quality data to determine potential root causes
• Ensure investigations are documented thoroughly and closed within required regulatory timelines
• Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Technical Services, Quality, and other teams to gather information and drive investigations forward
• Prepare detailed investigation summaries and ensure proper checks and balances are in place to defend product quality
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to the complaint investigation process
Required Qualifications:
• Strong quality mindset with a focus on compliance, documentation, and patient safety
• Compliance-first decision making and strong attention to detail (“if it isn’t documented, it didn’t happen”)
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving experience
• High level of integrity and independence; comfortable escalating concerns when necessary
• Prior pharmaceutical manufacturing investigation experience required (complaint investigations and/or deviation investigations within a GMP quality system)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with electronic quality management systems such as Veeva or similar platforms
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
• Strong analytical, technical writing, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple investigations with accuracy and timeliness
• Detail-oriented, inquisitive, and able to work independently
