Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic activities and interventions to improve patients' functional abilities, mobility, coordination, and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment outcomes to the Occupational Therapist.
- Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and proper use of equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current or eligible Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure/certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
- 0–2 years of experience in occupational therapy or a rehabilitation setting (new graduates encouraged to apply)
