Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients by delivering personalized care in a respectful and professional manner. This role requires a strong sense of empathy, patience, and attention to detail, along with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Administer First Aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate response to emergencies.
- Help with medication reminders and light household tasks to maintain a safe living environment.
- Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols to ensure client safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations.
Skills
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively during emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and their families.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude toward individuals with diverse needs.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
