Medallion Home is seeking a highly experienced and self-directed Ranch/Farm Manager to oversee multiple rural properties. This includes, but is not limited to, a 52-acre parcel and a 1,400-acre ranch. The position requires comprehensive land management, equipment maintenance, agricultural operations, and effective oversight of all properties. - Supervise and coordinate daily ranch activities, including livestock care, pasture management, and facility maintenance
- Oversee animal husbandry practices to ensure health, safety, and productivity of cattle, horses, or other livestock
- Manage farm machinery and equipment maintenance, including repairs, welding, and troubleshooting heavy machinery such as tractors and harvesters
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems to support crop growth and pasture health
- Oversee growing operations such as horticulture projects or greenhouse activities to enhance farm productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to heavy lifting, equipment operation, and farm procedures
- Maintain detailed records of livestock health, equipment maintenance logs, and operational reports
- Experience in agricultural or ranch settings
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery repair and equipment troubleshooting
- Knowledge of farming practices including crop cultivation, horticulture, greenhouse management, and irrigation systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools efficiently
- Strong understanding of safety standards for farm environments involving heavy machinery operation and animal handling
- Growing experience in agricultural settings is preferred to support sustainable development initiatives
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
