Job Summary
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team night shift 3x12hr Mountainside area. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders or cardiopulmonary problems. Your expertise will be crucial in providing respiratory care services that enhance the well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate has a patient, kind attitude with excellent bedside manner, a deep understanding of patient needs, and a strong grasp on respiratory regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Meet with and evaluate a variety of patients
- Make recommendations on respiratory care based on their specific needs and situations
- Perform basic respiratory care, including inserting and removing tubes, adjusting machines, and more
- Work with both the family and the patient to ensure their needs are being met, and they understand what is happening.
Qualifications
- Active credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state board equivalent required
- State licensure required
- Deep understanding of respiratory care, patient care, and best patient practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
