Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Biomedical Equipment Technician located in Draper, UT. The Biomedical Equipment Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating medical equipment to ensure its optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Daily tasks include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues, and conducting electrical safety tests. Additionally, the technician will collaborate with healthcare staff to address equipment-related concerns.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Repair, with a focus on ensuring functionality and reliability
- Knowledge of Electrical Safety standards and practices
- Experience in working with various Medical Equipment and performing accurate Calibration
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with healthcare professionals
- Associate degree or certification in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
