Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)
Job Description:
Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Perform respiratory assessments, administer respiratory treatments, assess ventilator patients, obtain and analyze blood gases, and evaluate patient responses to therapy. Maintain respiratory equipment, document procedures and treatments in the EMR, and collaborate with physicians and the respiratory care team to ensure safe, effective patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
- AHA BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and clinical assessment.
