Job Summary (List Format):



- Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Renal Medical-Surgical Unit

- Vital Signs & Blood Glucose: Responsible for performing own vital sign and blood glucose checks

- Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required; first-time travelers accepted; charge nurse experience preferred

- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatric patients

- Certifications: BLS required

- Skills/Setting:

- Renal Med-Surg nursing

- Familiarity with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR

- Patient Ratio: 1:5-6 patients

- Unit Details: 49 rooms, average daily census of 48 patients

- Scrub Color: Navy Blue

- Schedule:

- Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO)

- Every other weekend required (unless otherwise specified)

- Must work designated holidays based on assignment duration (see holiday policy)

- Floating: May be required within facility and within RN’s scope of practice

- Call Requirements: None

- Compliance: Full compliance required by start date; non-compliance may delay start by two weeks

- Offer Process:

- Must wear navy blue scrubs
