MRI Tech Job Summary:



- Operate MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scanners to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.

- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining processes and ensuring safety and comfort.

- Position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques according to physician instructions.

- Monitor patient during scanning, recognizing and responding to any complications or distress.

- Ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment; perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.

- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in compliance with privacy regulations.

- Follow established protocols for safety, including screening patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants).

- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of MRI suite and associated areas.

- Stay current with continuing education and advancements in MRI technology and safety.

Med Ninjas Job ID #20071. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
