Duties And Responsibilities
- Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy
- Analyzes trends, metrics and reports in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programs and policies and make recommendations. Utilize Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, charts & graphs) to collect, organize and summarize data.
- Conduct analysis on reports and data and use information to create and present information to leadership
- Research and monitor labor law updates; responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations by recommending changes/updates to HR policies, tools or best practices
- Processes documentation and prepares reports relating to employee activities (training, performance evaluations, employee changes, and terminations)
- Provides day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development; and organizational design consultation
- May assist in conducting New Hire Orientation for new hires
- Continually champions Employee Referral Bonus program to include proactive identification of internal talent matching and advancement
- Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs i.e. training to address certain needs
- Partners with Payroll, HRIS and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for clients
- All other duties assigned
- Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
- Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times
- Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, or business-related field
- Five (5) to Eight (8) years of HR experience with at least two (2) years of experience in both talent acquisition and HR Business Partner experience
- Three (3) years experience manipulating data in Microsoft Excel
- Healthcare industry experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication skills; ability to manage difficult employee situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction
- Must possess a smart-phone or electronic device capable of downloading applications, for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
