About the Role:
Med-Inn Hotel in Ann Arbor, MI is looking for a friendly and hardworking Breakfast/Room Attendant to join our hospitality team! In this dual role, you'll help create a welcoming experience for our guests — from a fresh morning breakfast service to clean, comfortable rooms they'll love coming back to.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, prepare, deliver, and break down the daily breakfast service area for hotel guests
- Replenish food, beverages, and supplies throughout breakfast hours to ensure a fully stocked service
- Greet and assist guests in the breakfast area with a warm, professional demeanor
- Clean and sanitize breakfast area, tables, counters, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Perform daily housekeeping duties including cleaning and restocking guest rooms
- Change linens, make beds, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms to brand standards
- Report maintenance issues or guest concerns to the appropriate department promptly
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or food service experience preferred
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Basic food handling knowledge and willingness to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
