What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Medical Equipment Delivery Technician position at Med-Essentials?
**Update: We are offering a $500 signing bonus, payable at completion of two months of employment.
Position is medical equipment delivery, set up, instruction, repair, and customer service.

Duties:
- Delivery, set up, customer instruction, and repair of durable medical equipment.
- Safely load, secure, deliver and pick up durable medical equipment.
- Educate and instruct customers at time of set up.
- Complete paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain company vehicle.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Skills Needed:
- Highly motivated, organized, focused, able to multi-task, detail oriented, needs critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Take direction well.
- Strong customer service skills, be personable on phone and able to deal with difficult situations.
- Mechanical ability to diagnose and repair necessary.
- Basic computer skills required. iPhone & Mac OS use is required.
- Experience in healthcare, specifically hospice, preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current, valid, unrestricted driver's license with safe driving record
- Ability to drive large vehicles (extended length/height cargo van)
- Be able to lift and/or push 75 pounds.
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Schedule includes minium 40hrs per week, one Saturday, and one weekend on call Friday to Sunday. Rotating holiday on call. Must have flexibility to work late as needed.
Compensation commensurate with experience, starting at $18/hr. Performance based bonuses can be earned monthly. Paid time off, 401K with 3% company match, health insurance availble after waiting period.
Pre-employment criminal background check, driving record, physical, and drug testing will be performed.
