What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Nurse Practitioner(URGENT) position at Med-Cure Internal Medicine?
*NIGHT SHIFT* Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with advanced health assessment and decision-making skills.
This individual works in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals to provide health care across the continuum of care for assigned patients.
Responsibilities, but is not limited to: obtaining patient history, comprehensive assessment, ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medication, treatments, and non-pharmacological therapies. Monitors the effectiveness of the therapeutic interventions. Makes appropriate medical recommendations.
This individual must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.
Qualifications
Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner:
- Must be licensed or eligible to practice as an CNP in the State of Arizona. Must have national certification.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited university.
- Master of Science in Nursing required.
Additional qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and stress effectively and adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience required.
Hours
7:00 PM-7:00AM total 15 nights per month.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
