Duties
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for nursing staff on telehealth technology, patient communication, and clinical workflows
- Educate patients and caregivers on how to effectively use telehealth platforms, ensuring they feel confident and supported during virtual consultations
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate telehealth protocols seamlessly into existing clinical practices
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, making improvements based on feedback and evolving best practices
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate record-keeping within electronic medical records systems
- Stay current with advances in telehealth technology, medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and relevant healthcare regulations to provide up-to-date education
- Facilitate ongoing professional development sessions focused on critical care, hospital experience, ICU procedures, pediatrics, adult education techniques, and home care essentials
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with active state certification
- Critical care experience including ICU or acute care settings preferred
- Nursing home or hospital experience demonstrating strong patient care skills
- Experience in teaching hospital environments or adult education programs highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medical documentation standards
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure handling of medical records
- Proven ability to train healthcare professionals and patients effectively through engaging teaching methods
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex medical concepts into understandable language for diverse audiences
